JDR’s Kerry had the pleasure of being invited by Shakin’ It Derby to attend the intu Derby Retailer Awards. Our favourite milkshake superstars Shakin’ It won Retailer Of The Year which, up against so many longstanding retailers, was no easy feat! Not only did they show themselves to be the best retailer going, they were also highly commended for Customer Service (Keep Calm And Grab A Milkshake!), and Food and Drink Awards! Props to an amazing team and their fab selection of milkshakes – what a year to be ‘Shakin’ It’!
The prestigious event was held at our very own Derby County Football Grounds. Every year the intu celebrates the very best stores and eateries across intu Derby – of course, we knew Shakin’ It would win big! Take a look at our pictures and you might spot a familiar face – yep, Bobby Norris from TOWIE was the celebrity guest who presented the awards!
It has been a real pleasure to be part of the Marketing team for this great company and we are so pleased they WON! We would like to say a massive congratulations to the Shakin' It team. The award was very well deserved! It's great to see a local independent small family business get the recognition they deserve, especially when competing against huge brands that are well known worldwide.
Competing against huge retailers like Nandos, Boots, JD Sports, New Look, and even Build-A-Bear, for ‘Retailer Of The Year’, it is amazing to win and be highly commended in two other categories. Talk about the cherry on top of the milkshake!
