This client is a specialist training provider, focused on helping engineering & manufacturing organisations upskill their teams and drive operational excellence through programmes such as Lean, Six Sigma, and apprenticeships.
Before working with us, their marketing was fragmented and difficult to scale. They were operating across 5 separate websites, with inconsistent branding and messaging, and no unified strategy to generate and convert leads.
They also faced challenges with content creation, sales follow-up and CRM usage, which meant opportunities were being missed. Like many growing SMEs, they knew what they should be doing with marketing, but didn’t have the time, systems or internal resources to execute it consistently.
They came to us to bring everything together into one cohesive strategy, improve lead generation, and build a scalable marketing and sales programme.
What We Did
We designed a tailored marketing programme, which included merging multiple websites into one single high-performing platform, implementing HubSpot CRM, and delivering a joined-up strategy across SEO, content, paid media and automation.

- Website became the highest-performing lead source, outperforming all other channels

Here’s how we did it:
A Tailored Digital Marketing Programme
After conducting a competitor, keyword, and business analysis, we designed a tailored marketing programme that included:
- Marketing Strategy - We developed a plan to attract their ideal customers, including customer profiling and research into keywords and competitors to create a content and conversion strategy.
- Website Design - we created a custom design to modernise the look, feel and user experience of the site, built on the HubSpot website platform. This brought 5 separate brands and services together into one single website.
- PPC management - we set up and managed Google pay-per-click advertising for them.
- SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) - Ongoing SEO and AI Optimisation was also provided to achieve high organic rankings on Google and in AI platforms.
- Content Marketing - We wrote, published, and promoted regular blog articles across social media.
- Email Marketing - News, case studies and blog posts were sent to their email database to stay in touch with past enquiries and customers.
- Lead Generation - We applied several Conversion Rate Optimisation strategies to the website and also created PDF guides to use as part of online lead generation.
- LinkedIn Advertising - Targeted ads showing to people in hand-picked job roles in specific industries on LinkedIn.
- HubSpot CRM - (Customer Relationship Management) - We introduced HubSpot as a way of tracking the source of all website enquiries, and have now trained the team on how to use it as a CRM system to manage their sales process, quotes and more.

The Results
Here are some of the key marketing achievements:
£1 Million Increase in Revenue
One of the most significant outcomes has been the direct impact on revenue. Within a year, the business achieved £1 million in additional sales - and since working with us they have had over 100,000 visits to their website and generated 1,654 new leads (at the time of writing) - here are their all-time results:

750 Leads Generated with High-Quality Enquiries
In 2025, the website generated 750 inbound leads, including 318 company enquiries. Importantly, around 40% of enquiries are from businesses rather than individuals, making this their most valuable and highest-performing channel.

Lead volumes have remained consistent year on year, giving the business a reliable and predictable pipeline.
Strong Growth in Website Traffic
Website traffic has increased significantly across multiple channels:
- Direct traffic grew from around 200–300 monthly visitors to over 1,000 at peak

- Multiple page 1 rankings, including several number 1 positions for key terms
- Significant keyword growth, increasing from 600+ to 900+ tracked keywords
- Major ranking improvements, with some terms moving from page 8 to page 1

The business is now positioned as a credible authority in its sector, with strong visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search results.

High-Performing Paid Advertising Campaigns
Google Ads campaigns have delivered strong engagement and cost efficiency:
- Click-through rates of 6–9%, well above industry averages
- Cost-effective traffic, with some campaigns achieving clicks at just £0.40
- 276 leads generated, including valuable company enquiries

Following a full website rebuild and ongoing optimisation:
