When you work in a complex, specialist sector, you need a website that reflects that expertise. This aviation-focused assessment & testing provider had outgrown its old website and needed a platform that better supported the way they attract, convert, and serve customers.
Their previous site held them back - the navigation was clunky, the structure didn’t support their core audiences, and making even basic content changes required developer intervention. More importantly, their HubSpot CRM was barely connected, which meant they couldn’t track leads, couldn’t manage marketing properly, and couldn’t use the CRM and automation tools they were already investing in.

The Website Project Scope:
This was a full bespoke design and build on Shopify, covering:

38 products, including structured bundles and unique product rules

Integration with all existing HubSpot forms

Multi-currency setup for international buyers

Shopify payment gateway configuration for Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and standard card payments

API integration between Shopify and their internal system that automatically generates digital course codes after purchase

New discount logic for partner organisations

Creation of affiliate tracking links

Complete content restructuring to better serve both corporate aviation clients and individual pilots
This was a sizeable project requiring precision, strong planning, and a clear understanding of their commercial model.
The Project: How We Worked Together
From the outset, we made the process transparent and easy, with weekly progress calls, access to a structured plan, and clear milestones at every stage.
We worked closely with their marketing team throughout the project, guiding them on best practice for user experience, navigation, and HubSpot integration. Once the site was ready, we trained their entire team so they could confidently manage content, products, and day-to-day changes without needing developer support.
By launch, they not only had a high-performing website, they had the capability to run it effectively.

Full Editability for Their Marketing Team
Their marketing team now updates pages, manages content, builds landing pages, and edits products without technical input. This gives them control, speed, and the freedom to improve their marketing continuously.
Seamless Payment and E-commerce Performance
The previous payment issues were removed completely. The new Shopify setup now processes global transactions reliably across cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna.
A Cloud-Based, Long-Term Platform
Moving to Shopify removes the need for server maintenance. They now have a secure, scalable platform with automatic updates and no hosting headaches.
Deep HubSpot Integration for Better Sales and Marketing Alignment
Every form, enquiry and product journey now connects directly to HubSpot, enabling better lead tracking, clearer reporting, and improved workflows across their marketing and sales processes.
Improved User Experience for Both B2B and B2C Audiences
The new structure makes it much easier for corporate aviation clients to find the information they need, while individual pilots can purchase courses and receive codes instantly.
