How to approach 'top of the funnel' leads (leads who have downloaded guides, checklists, brochures etc)

Hello, this is ______ from ______,
It’s a quick call – I got a notification that you requested a copy of _______ from our website. We sent it out to you by email, did you get it OK?
It might be that you just wanted the information only, and that that’s all you need for now – but I’ve had a quick look at your company, and we could help you:

I just wondered if you’d be open to having an initial conversation to explore how we could help you?
IF YES – schedule a meeting/call or go into a fact find there and then
IF NO – No problem! You’ve got the guide/ebook for now, and we’ll stay in touch – then if you have a need in the future you’ll know where we are (then send a follow up email, connect on LinkedIn/Twitter, and diarise a future follow up call)
